There are so many ways in which Japanese people have come to know about the Lord Jesus Christ.
For many they will first have heard about him while studying or working abroad, as a friend or colleague took the time and trouble to befriend them and to share the gospel with them. Others may have been given a helpful book or tract which resonated with their situation and gave them peace and hope. Still others may have gone searching for fellowship with Japanese people and have come across a church fellowship or other gathering which was so welcoming and attractive.

Mental health and suicide prevention are major issues in Japan. Sadly the suicide rate is high and this is the leading cause of death for young people aged 15 - 29. Read more
