Partners

In the JCL network there are many opportunities to be involved in outreach to Japanese people – from occasional participation to a missionary career. Please contact us if you would like more information on any of the following roles:

Mission Partners

Full time-roles in outreach to Japanese in Britain, Japan and elsewhere from two years upwards. Depending on your gifts, training and experience, you could be working with others in an established region or pioneering work among Japanese somewhere new.

For example, Katsutoshi Shimizu and his wife Yukiko planted South London Japanese Church a few years ago with the goal to promote gospel outreach to Japanese people in London.

Network Partners

These partners are involved in some form of ministry, possibly part-time or informal, among Japanese, at their church, at work, through a language school, or on their own initiative. We are keen to build special relationships with individuals so that they are linked into our network, in particular for prayer and for mutual encouragement.

For example, Emba Allison is working to serve disadvantaged people in Japan, while also following up on her keen interests in helping with mental health issues, engaging in outreach through friendship evangelism, supporting gospel choir music and ministering to the homeless.

Short Term Missions to Japan

If your church is interested in organising a short-term mission to Japan we may be able to help you with contacts, advice and information. Please get in touch to find out more.

More details about the roles which our partners play and the expectations of anyone who is looking to become a partner are available.  Select either Mission Partner or Network Partner.

Anyone interested in contacting us to explore their calling to become a JCL partner is welcome to complete this form.
