Get help Other sources of help Other sources of help North America If you are visiting our site from North America, we strongly recommend getting in contact with two organisations with which we have very close links, namely: Reaching Japanese for Christ (RJC) RJC’s vision is to glorify God by partnering together, to give the approximately half-million Japanese who temporarily reside in Canada and the United States an opportunity to hear the gospel and become disciples of Jesus Christ. Japanese Christian Fellowship Network (JCFN) JCFN is an evangelical Christian network which seeks to conduct and promote the follow up of primarily Japanese Christians and seekers of God, who move from Japan to a foreign country and back again and who have requested an introduction to a fellowship or church. JCFN also encourages the evangelism and discipling of Japanese people while they are living abroad. Returnees' Retreats If you are Japanese and have returned to Japan from overseas (or will soon be doing so), then we also strongly recommend getting in contact with one or more of the organised Returnees' Groups. Here is a link to the Returnees' Retreat in the Kansai region (in Japanese). Please contact us if you would like to know more about these retreats and receive details of meetings taking place near you. JCL Partner Links Thank you for your kind support in prayer and financially for our Mission Partners Stephen and Yuki Williams. If you would like to catch up with their plans, please visit either Stephen and Yuki's webpage (in Japanese) or feel free to browse the Japanese website of Shigaraki Christ Church where they serve. Olwen and Stephen Gosden offer many opportunities to build friendships, learn English and practise conversation through Japan Friendship Groups, they would be delighted to let you know where the groups meet around Japan and also virtually. Other Organisations We are pleased to be able to share with you information about other organisations with focus on Japanese people in various spheres. Friends International is a Christian charity seeking to grow friendship and faith with international students in the UK and Ireland. Their aim is to give international students chances to experience real local culture, and opportunities to hear the Christian message. Their activities are open to those of all faiths and none. The Navigators is a Christian group which was established for the purpose of helping people to live out the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. In Asia, the movement started in 1949 and in Japan the Navigators now has staff in 7 major cities ranging from Sendai in the north to Fukuoka on Kyushu Island in the south. WEC Japan wants to see vibrant, indigenous and reproducing churches flourishing in Japan, transforming its society and mobilising for mission. It started work in Japan in 1950 and has been working in church planting and training for mission around Shiga, Kyoto and Nara but now is expanding to other areas nearby. Manage Cookie Preferences
