This tract invites the reader to take an objective look at the Bible, in order to gain an understanding of what it means to believe in God.  Recall that the God of the Bible will be a new concept to many Japanese people.  The word used in Japanese for god (kami) is typically applied to many gods associated with temples, shrines, mountains, rivers, etc.  The concept of one omnipresent and omniscient God who made all things and sustains them will be unfamiliar to most Japanese people, as will what it means to believe in Him.
