This tract by Yuki Morizumi gives a short and clear outline of what belief in God is all about.  Useful for an enquirer and someone who may not be quite sure what is involved.  Recall that the God of the Bible will be a new concept to many Japanese people.  The word used in Japanese for god (kami) is typically applied to many gods associated with temples, shrines, mountains, rivers, etc.  The concept of one omnipresent and omniscient God who made all things and sustains them will be unfamiliar to most Japanese people, as will what it means to believe in Him.
