These Terms of Sale, and any documents referred to, set out the terms and conditions which you must consent to in order to purchase goods from us, either on jclglobal.org (our website) or by telephone. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by, and to comply with, these Terms of Sale.

These Terms of Sale are effective from 22nd December 2020.

1. Prices

All prices are subject to alteration without prior notice. We are under no obligation to dispatch items to you if they have been ordered at an incorrect price, even after we have sent you a confirmation of your order, if it is an obvious error and could have been recognised by you as an error.

2. Payment

All our payments are processed securely through our payment providers, from time to time.

3. Delivery

We use Royal Mail as our main delivery company and rely on their service. We shall not be held accountable for any loss or damage resulting from a delayed delivery. Generally, in order to reduce costs, we do not use tracking services for deliveries. It is your responsibility to inform us if there is a problem with your delivery.

4. Import Duty

Orders placed for delivery outside of the United Kingdom may be subject to various import/export duties and taxes that are applied when your goods arrive at the destination country. You are responsible for the payment of these charges. To find out more information contact the appropriate customs office before placing your order.

5. Returns and Refunds

All refunds will normally be processed within 7 - 10 working days of us receiving the goods.

Unwanted Goods

If you wish to return all or part of your order (for refund or in exchange for a different product), you must notify us within 14 days of receiving it. You can do this by sending an email to [email protected] with your order number and details of what you would like to return. After we have confirmed and agreed to take the items back, you have 14 days in which to return them to us. You should include a note advising your name and order number, so that we can identify you and process your request.

The item remains your responsibility until it reaches us. By returning items to us you accept that you are sending them at your own cost and risk. We will not be held accountable for any damage or loss whilst in transit.

If you are returning items for a refund, we will issue you a refund for the value of the items returned only.

Items must be returned to us unused and in a saleable condition. If the items are returned in an unsaleable condition we reserve the right to make a deduction to the refund value.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

For more information, contact us by email to [email protected]

6. Claims

Notice of any claim arising out of or in connection with this contract must be given in writing to us within 7 working days from the date when the goods are delivered, failing which all claims shall be deemed to be waived and absolutely barred. In any event, we shall be under no liability for shortage or damage unless within 7 days of delivery you give written notice of claim.

7. Waiver

No variation or waiver of, or addition to these conditions shall be binding unless expressly confirmed by us in writing.

8. Force Majeure

We will not be held responsible for any failures or delays in normal service of any of our obligations that are due to events outside of our reasonable control. This may include but is not limited to strikes, lock-outs, industrial action, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of a terrorist attack, war (declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport, impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks, the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.

Our performance under any contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the force majeure event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to find a solution by which our obligations under the contract may be performed despite the force majeure event.

All use of our website is governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes or claims shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are accessing our website from outside of the United Kingdom you are responsible for abiding by any relevant local laws.
