Thank you for wanting to make a difference in the advance of the gospel among the Japanese people, we welcome your involvement!  

There are a number of ways to get involved:  

Praying

We believe prayer is vital to underpin the work of JCL and its Partners and Volunteers and we appreciate greatly the work of all those who support us in this way. If you would like to get involved in this there are a number of options:

• Sign up for our regular Praise & Prayer letter. This is issued roughly semi-annually and has up-to-date prayer requests from our Partners and for the work of JCL in general.
• Ask to receive prayer letters from one or more of our Mission Partners. Each of our Mission Partners writes a prayer letter once every few months, with an update on their activities and items for prayer.
• You can use the JCL Japan Prayer Calendar to pray through general topics for Japan as well as specifically for our Partners and the JEB (Japan Evangelistic Band) churches.

The first two are available by post or email. The Prayer Calendar is available by post, or please contact us if you would like to receive an electronic copy. If you would like more information on any of these, or on how you can pray for work in Japan in general, please do contact us.

There are also a number of groups around the country that meet regularly to pray for Japan. If you would like to find out whether there is one in your area please contact us.

Giving

Would you like to help reach one of the world’s least-reached nations with the good news of Jesus? The proportion of evangelical Christians in Japan is believed to be lower than North Korea, and way below countries such as China. But you can make a difference.

JCL Partners and Volunteers share the hope offered by the gospel directly with Japanese in Japan and the UK. We encourage, resource and support Christians in other countries too - particularly in the USA, but also in Europe, Australasia and beyond – to share God’s love with Japanese around them.
