Japan Weekend Conference 2023

Our next conference will take place on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd July 2023 and will be held at All Nations Christian College near Ware in Hertfordshire.  We're sorry but we will not be offering participation online this year.

Our theme this year is "Pray for Japan" and we will be focusing on receiving information from partners in Japan and others working with Japanese based overseas and then praying about all we have heard.  

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and laws keep on praying for all the Lord's people. - Ephesians 6:18

We will not have invited speakers on this occasion, however we will share input from various mission activities using video, online reports from individuals in the mission field and written reports.  We will also be sharing prayer materials and a vision for gospel growth in Japan and amongst Japanese people everywhere.  There will also be some encouraging stories of work which the Lord has been doing.  

As always, there will be opportunities to network and catch up with existing friends and contacts, as well as the chance to meet new people and hear of new ways in which the Lord is working.  

An outline programme of the event will be available in late May.

When it comes to the advance of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Japanese are among the largest, most un-reached people groups of our world. Come and listen to encouraging news of the growth of God's kingdom amongst the people of Japan. Join us in praying for the advance of God's kingdom across all of Japan.

Our aim for this weekend is for you to gain a better understanding of the current spiritual climate in Japan, be inspired to pray, learn from others’ experiences and yourself also be able to encourage and build up others. There will be input in Japanese and in English, so do invite your Japanese friends, … or your English-speaking friends if you are Japanese! The programme will include testimonies and time to relax and chat. It will be a great opportunity to meet different people involved in serving the Lord among Japanese people, as well as to make new friends and to catch up with current contacts!
